Our 20mm scalping’s are a graded aggregate made up of various pieces of stone and concrete materials that are below 20mm. This aggregate is sourced from various construction and demolition projects in the Southwest. This product complies with BS EN 13232- unbound and hydraulically bound materials for civil engineering works and road construction.

Where appropriate this product could be used for capping of sub-bases or as a base layer for paths, driveways or patios. This product is analysed for particle distribution size on a monthly basis, passing SHW: Series 500 (drainage) and BS EN 12620 (concreate grading requirements).

Yes! Towens primarily delivers aggregate in 8-wheel tipper lorries. However, if you require a smaller load of less than 6 tonnes, we can deliver a skip lorry instead.
Materials for recycling are selected specifically from construction, roadworks, groundworks, and demolition projects based on their chemical and physical composition. The feedstock is then processed using our highly sophisticated Matec Aggretec 150 plant, tested for physicality and then stockpiled for sale.
Yes! You can come and visit us at our sites in Westonzoyland (TA7 0JS) or Weston-S-Mare (BS23 3UU) and pick up the products in your own vehicle.
