Towens helps transform Marine Lake in Weston-super-Mare

We’re thrilled to be part of a huge project to transform Marine Lake in Weston-super-Mare, making it safe and suitable for swimming. In this exciting first stage, we’ve been hard at work removing the old sluice gates, paving the way for the lake’s clean and refurbishment.

This morning, as the sun rose over the lake, Towens was joined by the enthusiastic Mudlarks and North Somerset Council to officially open the sluice gates and kick off this exciting project. We’re proud to be playing a key role in this community effort to revitalize one of Weston’s most beloved landmarks.

As we continue to work on this project, we’re excited to see the lake become a vibrant hub of activity, a place where families and friends can come together to swim, play, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We believe that this transformation will not only benefit the local community but will also attract visitors from far and wide to experience the magic of Marine Lake.
