A range of excavators are available depending on the size of the project, speak to our team about available models. Each model comes with sufficient reach and lift height, making truck loading easy. We have a number of hire options available and operators are available should you require them.

Road Sweepers

Towens is pleased to offer for hire their high performance Volvo FM/Johnson sweeper complete with a sleeper cab. Full gully sucking and jet wash facility. This is a high spec powerful machine providing the best in road cleaning. Fully qualified CSCS operator. Travel to/from site chargeable at normal hourly hire rate. Minimum 4 hours hire including transport to/from site. Daily hire minimum of 10 hours including transport to/from site. Call for current rates.

8 Wheel HIAB Self Loader

We run HIAB services to move awkward and cumbersome loads around the site. For customers who are unable to load material themselves or where you have small piles of soils, subsoils, hardcore or waste for disposal we offer our 8-wheel grab lorries. Fitted with Atlas Hiab cranes with a clam bucket attachment, they can clear just about anything from your site in minimal time and with no fuss. Also available for delivering aggregates into spots where tippers cannot reach, over walls or fences saves time and effort, not double handling. The HIAB comes with a 65m crane and a low-loader trailer.

8 Wheel Tipper - up to 20 tons

Designed to transport rock, quarry aggregates, road planings and more. Available to both trade and home owners, we undertake large and small site clearance works, the tippers are available for hire at competitive rates on an hourly or daily basis.

Finlay 883 Screeners

3-way Finlay mobile screener which is available for hire for a range of screening applications. The screener can be used in a wide variety of applications ranging from, pre-screening and scalping prior to being fed into a crusher, quarrying separation of aggregates and more. The Finlay Screener has a number of benefits such as low feeding height, quick set up time, its also now up to 25% more fuel efficient. Supplied with operator and fuel is available on request. Please limit screening to 80mm – 10mm.

Low loader

Designed and built for the economical transport of heavy machinery and plant equipment. Robust trailers with hydraulic suspension and ramps suitable for road travel. Equipped with all round cameras.

Crushers

We also offer for hire our Finlay crusher for your on site crushing needs. This is a 32t jaw crusher with flow rates of up to 180t/hr. The machine is supplied with a qualified operator and fuel if required. Ideal for crushing demolition materials. Typical grading from 100-75mm down complete with magnetic metal extraction and dust suppression.
