Inert skips are used for soil and stone disposal. This type of waste is easier to recycle and dispose of, leading to a lower price point.

Mixed skips are used for a combination of mixed materials and general waste disposal. This type of waste can be more difficult to recycle and dispose of, leading to a higher price point.

Here at Towens we have established three fantastic skip hire locations  in Weston, Middlezoy (near Bridgewater) and Clutton (near Chew Valley). We calculate approximate costs based on where you want your skip delivered, and how far away this desired location is from us.

You will need a permit if you want to place the skip on a public highway. In many instances this includes on the road outside of your property.

The cost for a permit is between £70 and £100 and takes from 3-5 working days to obtain. Towens are happy to arrange this for you.

The cost of the skip includes a 2 week hire. When you are ready, just give us a call, and we will arrange collection. If we do not hear from you we will call you shortly after the expiry of 2 weeks to arrange collection.
